Sunday Styles: Sweater Weather

It’s November 1st, and the clock just turned back. As parents, we’d love to take advantage of that extra hour of sleep, but the kids still wake up as if were the same time, only its really an hour earlier. With another Halloween under our belts, it’s time to set our sights on Thanksgiving, with Christmas right behind it, accompanied with those cold winter months.

After ten years of living in Battery Park, I’ve become accustomed to our little suburb of NYC getting at least 5 degrees colder than the rest of the city. Living on the water, winter wind and chills rolling off the Hudson, sometimes leave us feeling as though we were living in the Arctic. In order to prepare for these months, an abundance of sweaters is a must. It takes layers upon layers to stay warm during these months, so I got a head start last week, at H&M. This season, they are stocked with some of the cutest sweaters they’ve ever seen for the kids, along with some pretty great options mens and women alike.IMG_0898IMG_0995IMG_0913

Ryder’s textured grey sweater has a front zipper, which will probably get lots of use during the holiday season. Siella has on an adorable Horse Frayed Turtle Neck, with fringe detail running down the arm, which totally reminds me of a sweater I had as a child. And Gemma’s little bunny sweater not only has floppy ears, but a pom pom tail on the back. My textured-knit sweater is a thick cotton blend, with a perforated pattern in the front, and decorative fringe. I adore this sweater so much, I even bought one in black.

I have to say, I’m pretty psyched about sweater weather. There’s just something about cozying up with your favorite sweater, and snuggling up with my little loves makes it even better.

Thank you H&M for sponsoring my favorite series, Sunday Styles.
