On The Farm

This past weekend, I was invited to a super sweet event out in the Hamptons. You all know my love affair with being out East during the summer months, so this was just another excuse to spend another sun filled weekend out there.

The event was held at Amber Waves Farms in Amagansett (one of our favs) and hosted by Jennifer Garner to celebrate the launch of her new company she co-founded with Cassandra Curtis…Once Upon A Farm! The company is dedicated to serving up the most nutritious and great tasting food using the most sustainable methods possible offering cold pressed baby food and smoothies.

Guests were given a map and invited to pick fresh produce and flowers, feed and hold the chickens, swing from trees, plant sunflowers, dance, play in life size doll houses, all while under a huge rainbow balloon archway.

I think the girls were most excited about their new Sunflower plants they potted all by themselves. They decorated the clay pots and added fun little butterfly decor throughout. They wound up giving both of their plants to my mom for her backyard, which was the cutest thing ever!

Since there were no shortage of Once Upon A Farm pouches, the girls were able to sample all of the flavors! A favorite for them was the Coco For Mangoes which is mango blended with creamy coconut milk, carrots and hearty quinoa! All pouches are cold-pressed making them super fresh, dairy-free and no added sugar!

We met Jen Garner! I’m at events a ton and never go up to celebs and take pictures but we had the opportunity and have to say she was the sweetest ever. Other guests in attendance, also my favs included Rachel Zoe and Molly Sims. And no, I didn’t get a photo with them and kind of kicking myself for not asking, but next event guys, I will!

Once Upon a Farm later donated a gardening plot from the event, along with $10,000 to NYC’s Edible Schoolyard! Overall, it was a wonderful event and we are so honored to have been part of the launch!
