We are a busy brood and we need to keep up with all our obligations and events in style. Living on the Northeast we have different seasons to shop for, so I have to keep that in mind.
It is great to have several beautiful dresses on stand-by for a quick trip out of town or even a fun dinner with the family. I love the flowy vintage inspired look for myself so naturally my girls gravitate towards the same style.
Love, Fire is an inexpensive contemporary clothing line with a bit of vintage flare and it is a great brand for me to find wearable clothes that can be dressed up but also totally everyday dresses. Psst, they also sell adult sizes. The style speaks to my girls with their adventurous, creative, free spirited personalities. They have fun trendy pieces but also ones that can totally look like vintage flea market finds. The collection is available at national retailers like Nordstrom and Macy’s.
On our recent trip to Washington I took along the cutest pink velvet dresses with lace trim. I wasn’t sure what weather we would encounter—fall being an unpredictable time of year—but the velvet was perfect! Short sleeves kept them cool, but the velvet was cozy and also dressier for dinner out.
I love to do sister-twinning outfits for Siella and Gemma even though it can and sometimes be a little too matchy-matchy but with these velvet dresses they made each look totally different! And of course they both looked gorgeous and they absolutely loved feeling comfortable but dressed up for our fun sushi dinner!
