The Dreamiest Nightgowns

Nightgowns for girls are a lovely way to add whimsy to the evening for our little girls. I first discovered this amazing company back in 2015! Lavender Ave is brining the old-school sweetness and beauty of nightgowns back in a big way. Exploring their Etsy store is like stepping back in time.

Lavender Ave nightgowns harken back to the days before cell phones, computers, or even television. Heavily inspired by the 30s and 40s, Lavender Ave brings the elegant, simple, and adorable styles of the past into the present by pairing traditional styles with the modern flair of vibrant colors as well as classic white.

The pieces offered from here range from shirred nightgowns to sleeveless options, and even lounge pants made for both girls and boys. With colors ranging from classic white to pink and bright yellows and aquas, there’s something for every child here.

The girls recently received pink linen nightgowns from Lavender Ave, and they were everything we thought they would be. They are gorgeous. A classic square-cut neck leads into half-sleeves with a gather just above the bottom hem that gives them a ruffled, gathered look. The old-fashioned straight cut of the body ends with a ruffled accent at the bottom that further adds to the elegant, whimsical feel. A little bow accent at the center of the neckline completes the look for a nightgown that is the definition of cute.

There are several other varieties of nightgowns for girls to choose from at this store. One highlight for us – and a close call when we were picking out nightgowns – were the shirred nightgowns. They are one of the most elegant offerings in the store and real eye-catchers.

My girls are loving their pink linen nightgowns, and I think any girl will enjoy any of the wonderful options offered by this talented designer.

Those nightgowns are super cute! I love the color and the frilly hemline. Perfect for little girls like yours. I think I would want to get my granddaughters a nightgown like that.
