This week, the girls had the opportunity to be models in the 3rd annual Fashion Forward Conference. The conference, hosted by my good friends Nicole Feliciano, Audrey Mc Clelland, and Vera Sweeney, brings real moms together with fashion brands, and the chance to hear from incredible power women in our industry.
I was thrilled that Siella and Gemma were going to be showing off the sweetest dresses from the Matilda Jane Clothing line. I have always been a huge fan of the brand, and I’ve been buying their colorful designs for as long as I can remember. The brand is all about keeping a little girl…a little girl- keeping her youthful, playful and carefree.
Getting a mani with CITYMANI
The one day conference was filled with a children’s fashion show, women’s fashion show, styling tips, and amazing sponsors including Dyson, GM, and Miracle Suit to name a few. The extremely informative panel included key note speaker Christy Turlington who shared insight on her charity Every Mother Counts.
The girls had an absolute blast, and Siella was completely loving her “mommy’s work,” while having her hair styled by Priv, and a manicure from CityMani. It’s been really great to be able to incorporate my children into my work. In the three years that I have experienced Fashion Forward, it just keeps getting better and better!
