New York City winters are no joke. Last week temps didn’t break 20 degrees. In this concrete jungle, you need to be prepared for any type of weather, considering your main means of transportation is walking. This means each season, I need to outfit the kids with the proper attire. During the fall, it’s all about the right rain boot and pint size umbrellas; while in the winter, its all about the hats, scarves, gloves, boots, and a toasty warm jacket.
This winter, the girls are rocking new winter coats from Colmar. Colmar Originals is an urban-lifestyle line that offers a wide range of styles and colors of winter coats and jackets.ย The shapes, materials and fits have all come from the history and DNA of Colmar’s Italian roots, that spans across almost a century.
Siella has the girlโs down jacket in navy, with satin-effect fabric, that gives a glossy and water-repellent finish. The soft, natural down feather padding give the jacket a sporty feel, while keeping her warm and cozy.
I chose a longer down jacket, with the same soft down padding in grey satin for Gemma. Her jacket features an irregular double pull-tab zip fastening, side pockets with invisible zips, and a fixed hood.
The girls are usually the worst when it comes to walking in cold weather, but I have to say with their new Colmar jackets I haven’t heard many complaints, which means they are warm and cozy! Check out some of my favorite styles for men, women, and kids!

These coats looks super cute and warm! I especially like the longer one because I tend to get very cold in the winter. The colors are so versatile. I haven’t ever worn this brand before but will keep it in mind for the future – thanks! My down jacket is my favorite for staying warm in the winter.
