It’s no secret that I absolutely love buying clothes for my children. When I walk into a store, instead of grabbing the pieces needed for myself, I immediately gravitate towards the kiddie section. But I have to say this is the first year ever, I am actually having a hard time dressing them in the mornings. Ryder, Siella, and Gemma all have huge opinions on what they are wearing, and their tastes seem to change with the days of the week. I have them pick outfits out before bedtime, but that still doesn’t help the morning when they are practically trying on their entire wardrobe. I was just about to give up and let them go to school in their pjs until I discovered Rockets of Awesome!
Rockets of Awesome is an innovative and new way to shop for kids clothes that actually makes the whole process fun and easy for parents. And my favorite part, it lets my kids feel like they have some say in their style and wardrobe.
Rockets of Awesome is a direct-to-consumer priced kids apparel brand. After completing a questionnaire about your kids age, size, style, preferences, you receive a highly personalized selection of clothes (twelve outfit-ready items ranging in price from $12 to $36), four times per year, with no fees. The best part- parents only pay for what they decide to keep!
I have always been a fan of the curated goods boxes, from beauty products, to wines, and even clothing for myself, so I love that this is designed especially for children! The Rockets Of Awesome site gets “smarter” as you use it. For instance, if Ryder dislikes wearing orange, we just make a note of that and he will never receive another article of clothing in orange. I mean…talk about curated. Plus, there are so many cool outfit combinations the kids loved trying on all the different looks. Siella was in her GLORY picking her style and then planning outfits! AND new pieces are constantly being introduced based on purchase patterns. It is like having a personal shopper, with never having to leave the house.
Getting dressed in the mornings have been a huge relief with their new pieces they picked out on their own. Plus, there is something special and fun about playing dress-up and trying outfits on at home, because you can pair them with the shoes and accessories in their existing wardrobe. I am completely blown away by this site. I love their aesthetic, the clothes are gorgeous, AND the prices are reasonable. I can’t even tell you how obsessed I am with the silver bomber jacket with “Rockets of Awesome” emblazoned on the back. It’s so cool, I wonder if I can get one big enough for mama?
