Making Valentine’s With My Little Valentines

Not sure when this happened but Valentine’s Day has become quite the holiday in our house! The kids love handing out Valentine’s and sweets to their little friends. I of course always seek out Valentine’s Day outfits for them to wear. Jason and I never go out on actual Valentine’s Day, so I usually cook a fun dinner for all of us and follow it up with fun treats like our fav cupcakes or cookies. With only four days left till heart day, if you haven’t planned out your children’s outfits or prepped Valentine’s Day cards yet, fret not!

H&M has put their Valentine’s day outfit guide up and has pulled together sets from tops and bottoms to jewelry and accessories to match! H&M Valentine’s and Friends section has turned this Valentine’s day into a magical one with implementations of sequins and hearts giving a fairy tale like feel that your kids will love! Whether you’re going out to a fancy dinner with the entire family or staying in for a cozy Valentine’s celebration, H&M has the outfits to match.

With button down tops and ties to t-shirts with the cutest sayings, I’ve been able to easily pull together outfits for Ryder, Siella, and Gemma. They even have matching best friend tops and friendship bracelets that I think are so cute! For the girls, I opted for this matching heart fine-knit sweater top and fine-knit sweater skirt in dark blue and pink. This outfit also comes in a light grey color with a floral pattern! Though the weather gave us a little sneak peek of spring, it is back to the cold here in New York so I paired this outfit with this satin bomber jacket. I love the detailing of the word love across the front with the multi-colored sequins. The sequins on the jacket add to the knitted look and the heart patterning of the sweater top and bottom!

Now, lets talk Valentine’s Day cards! Minted’s classroom valentines feature fun, punny, and unique designs by independent artists. I customized the kids with their names but you can also add photos too. All of the cards are of course printed on luxe paper and come in a variety of shapes. Their pint size cards also have tic tac toe puzzles on the back which I know the kids will love, and my fav is Gemma’s emoji heart eyes! I also added some fun personalized stickers to also go along too. Minted also has express shipping so you are guaranteed to get your Valentine’s in time!

  1. This is a lovely idea! I’d love to use these for my little cards to. I decided to spend less this Valentines and give out cards instead.

  3. Oh these are so cute! I wanted to do something similar with my daughter, but she is only three. Still very young, but hopefully next year, we get to do something fun like this!

  4. Awwww. Seeing your daughters dressed up for Valentine’s Day with all the pink hearts made me think of my daughter. Her birthday is on Valentine’s Day. Yesterday she turned 35, but she is still my baby Valentine!
