Il Gufo is “that brand ” you know you can trust for high quality, fashionable, yet staples pieces in your child’s wardrobe. I know when purchasing anything from the Il Gufo brand that I will be able to pass down beautiful clothing from sibling to sibling. I had a chance to get first hand from Alessandra Chiavelli CEO of Il Gufo on what their Fall 2013 collection is all about. Here is what she had to say. For complete interview visit Lil’Stylers.
“The collection is a fairy tale that magically unfolds amidst the pages of a book. Elegance and innovation are combined to ensure the best fit, conveying the brand identity of “children dressed as children.”
“The fabrics are precious: this season in particular we are collaborating with The Woolmark Company for special items in merinos wool. For the girls we choose superior materials: wool with mini sequins, tulles, plumetis, micro houndstooth, precious gros grain ribbons and the neoprene, lightweight and insulating, that adds a contemporary touch to garments and outerwear with a structured shape.”
“For the boys too the fabrics are excellent and often treated: micro-jacquard, corduroy, vintage gabardine, supersoft bouclé wool. Among the must-haves of the winter season, once again the duvets, neutral or coloured. Warm, comfortable and super light thanks to innovative direct feathering that guarantees maximum thermal insulation with a minimum thickness.”
“We love colors in winter time, so the girls dress pastel shades of pink, green and light blue, grey with touches of yellow, purple together with fuchsia, yellow and green, red for the holidays. Boys outfits turn into military greens and acid tones, touches of red mixed with the beiges and greys, fabrics in shades of blue, broken by purple and lilac and sparkling yellow with greys.”

I completely agree with you. I’ve bought several pieces of clothing from Il Gufo and they still look amazing. I see it as an investment that will last through multiple children.
It makes buying clothing for your kids a no brainer. I rather spend more and get the quality! Plus the looks are so classic!
