Kids Style File: Monster Republic & GIVEAWAY

When I had Ryder almost five years ago, there was a serious void in the childrens boy department for cool threads. I remember not being able to find anything that wasn’t baby blue but luckily today; the boys market has come a long way. Monster Republic is a Los Angeles based company. Their philosophy is to create boys clothing 12 months to 10 years with the same edgy look found on the LA scene. Cool and hip yet unpretentious, Monster has the pure spirit of  being boyish, fun, energetic, and devilish.

Monster is owned and operated by a husband and wife team and started because they could not find cool clothes for their young son. Monster Republic clothes make dressing boys fun and spark their interest in what they wear. Stroller In The City has teamed up with M.R. and are giving away $100 gift card to use toward the line!

  1. Love Monster Republic for my little guy and my little guy due any day!!! My favorite is everything but I love the olive green hot rod shirt, since my lil guy loves cars!!

  2. My son has been wearing the line since he was six! Now he is nine and his favorite piece is the mechagodzilla shirt! He says he never wants to grow out of it and wants me to make it into something when he does! I love this line!

  3. Stephanie Robinson

My favorite piece ever from Monster Republic is actually a sample shirt they made as a twist on Clockwork Orange and it says Clockwork Monster with animals dressed like the characters. I generally love all their stuff though. Been rocking them on my boys since before when they were Monster Industry 🙂

  4. We have lots of Monster Republic but I think my favorite is Noah’s brownie Monster Mohawk hoodie with a Cyclops eyeball hood.

  5. Some of my favorites were from 4 or 5 years ago. We had the green and bown striped with the tie. The fall one eyed monster shirt looks awesome!

  6. My favorite MR pieces are the adorable polo shirts… and anything with the word ‘Monster’ emblazoned on it since that’s what I’ve always called my, now almost 4-year-old, son.

  7. Kricket Jolliff

Best Monster Republic pieces: full-zip (face) hoodies. My little guy has the bat, panda, eyeball and mohawk. Each piece is unique and he is definitely the *most* stylish kid in his school.

  8. Sweet sweaters, sweaters, sweaters.

Little Sebastian has grown up in them: gray stripeys, green spideys, red and black pull-over (he called that one his “crazy boy” sweater).

On the playground in Portland, a little tow-haired boy chasing Sebastian up and down the ramps, screeched to a halt and exclaimed,”Where’d you get that? (pointing to the spider sweater). I want one!”

    Awesomeness, incorporated and unlimited.

Gracious thanks for creating fabulous lil’ boy duds…

  9. MR rocks!! I searched high and low for something cool when my son turned 4 and was thrilled to discover MR. We’ve been a huge fan for the past 4 years and will continue to be until we outgrow in sizes (NO!!!!!). Our favorite has got to be the full face zip bat hoodie. I think my son and I will both cry our hearts out when he can no longer sport it.

  10. I like the red shirt with the dinosaur on the front and also the blue shirt with a lighter colored blue dress tie on the front.

  11. I love many of their pieces but I think my grandson would love the Monster Republic Dino T-Rex Chasing Car.
