ErgoBaby & Every Mother Counts {& GIVEAWAY}

I am a huge fun of baby wearing especially with the Ergobaby carrier. I’ve had one since Ryder was born and have continued to use it with each child. And I was thrilled to hear that my favorite brand has begun to work with such an amazing organization. Ergobaby and Every Mother Counts have collaborated to create a designer Ergobaby carrier that benefit mothers and babies around the world. The exclusive partnership features the designs of Every Mother Counts founder, Christy Turlington Burns, with a new celebrity designer to launch annually. This multi-year project was created to support Every Mother Counts efforts to end pregnancy-related maternal mortality around the world with products that are unique and stylish. Hundreds of thousands of women die from pregnancy-related complications each year. 90% of these deaths are preventable.

The authentic African “Umba” pattern, created by Chantal, a local designer in West Africa, was chosen by Christy to merge the unique sensibilities of African textile design with a stylish, one-of-a-kind twist on products parents can use every day. Chantal provides for her family in Togo through textile design; her batik method involves a specially carved wood stamp, hot wax and a white piece of cotton, resulting in a wonderfully natural pattern with broad appeal.

To celebrate this cause we are giving away an Ergobaby Designer Series of your choice.

    This is my first Mothers Day! Last year we celebrated by surprising my family, on video, that I was pregnant!! This Mothers Day, my husband is surprising me! It’s been an amazing 4.5 months of being a mom. My baby was born early and was in the NICU, so the best gift is his health and development.

  5. Not positive yet. Most likely doing brunch and going shopping with all of my boys. This has become a “tradition”.

  6. This Mother’s Day will be my first as a mom to two sweet boys! I’ll be spending it with both my husband and his family as well as my Mom, sister and Grandmother.

    This upcoming Mother’s Day will be my very first! Forget the pampering and the ‘time alone’ (although I’ll be grateful for a Mother’s Day like that in the future, I’m sure!). This Mother’s Day will be all about spending time with my two favorite people: my daughter, Olivia, and my husband. We are going to have a Mother’s Weekend – starting off with Olivia’s first swim classes (at the Pasadena Rose Bowl), lunch, time at the park, and trying out new solids for the first time (for Olivia, of course!). I’m so excited!

  8. I plan to spend Mothers Day with my husband & kids, hopefully relaxing, but just enjoying being a mama!

  9. Honestly, I can’t decide on what I plan to do or hope to get on Mother’s Day because no matter how much I complain about being tired looking after my kids, I cannot be away from them for too long. So perhaps a beautiful stroll in the park with my husband and kids without needing to worry about, anything!

  10. Going to breakfast with my mom and dad, sister and her son and my husband and the boys and then going to the zoo.
