I’ve been busting at the seams to share these photos my girls took at Classic Kids Photography. I’ve been a huge fan of Classic Kids for quite sometime now, they have taken a number of photos of my family and I through the years. And I love how they are always thinking outside the box and reinventing themselves. So when I heard about their collaboration with Tutu du Monde, I knew immediately I wanted to take my tiny little dancers in for a shoot.
This was definitely not your average shoot, this was a full-on stylized photoshoot in the gorgeous dresses made by Tutu Du Monde. These dresses have become heritage pieces in my girls wardrobes, and ones that I always cherish the most. Each tutu inspired dress is reminiscent of a vintage dancer’s garment with elegant touches of dream inspiring feathers, beading and sequins in the softest and most feminine color palettes. Add in their hair accessories, capes, leggings and ballet shoes just complete the fantasy. Even the dresses they’ve out grown have been carefully placed in storage in hopes they will have these dresses for their kids one day, or even just to look back on.

I loved hearing the story about how this collaboration came to be. The owner of Classic Kids, Julie decided to purchase a bunch of these one of a kind dresses and keep them on hand in her studios for photoshoots. But then Andrea, owner of Tutu Du Monde caught wind of the collab and decided to exclusively partner with Classic Kids and offer all clients dress with purchase of this package.
Gemma was way more giddy than Siella during the shoot, but I couldn’t be more excited with their new photos! I’m bummed I didn’t think to throw Ryder in there with a suit on and call these our holiday cards! I may have to go back for another session!
