I never really talk much about what my husband Jason does, other than you all knowing that he travels a ton. Well he had a part in the latest video that has gone viral called World’s Toughest Job. I’m sure you have all seen it and if you have not, here’s the clip..
People applied to a job ad placed by Mullen, a Boston-based ad agency, recently placed an ad in newspapers for Director Of Operations. They interviewed via webcam, and their real-time reactions were captured on video. They are told the job is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they do not get any breaks, they cannot eat lunch until their “associate” eats theirs first. But the benefits are really rewarding. Most of their reactions when told about these awful work conditions, the candidates are totally baffled. Other requirements go on to say: standing up almost all the time, constantly exerting yourself, work load goes up on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s and other holidays, and zero salary.
But in the end, it’s a real tear jerker when they tell the applicants that this job is held by billions of people all over the world, and the “Worlds Toughest Job” is a Mom! When they tell them what the job actually is, the reactions are priceless. The spot is for American Greetings and adds this Mother’s Day you might want to get her a card.
This spot has been viewed over 8 million times and was aired on nationally on shows such as Good Morning America, The View and ABC News. It’s so touching and I am really proud of Jason for being part of this amazing project!
