When special occasions roll around, I somehow find it my mission to dress and coordinate my kids. It makes for fun photo ops and I love the shopping challenge to find pieces that work well together. Since my children’s sizes range in every department from baby, toddler, and kid size, I try to find a shop that offers something for all three. I was recently introduced to the brand Jacadi this past holiday season. Their newest location in the Flatiron District, just one of their four stores in NYC, is usually a go-to when on my shopping trips.
Jacadi is a Paris-based premium baby and children clothing brand. The brand offers timeless pieces with their attention to detail and luxe fabrics. The styles feature traditional lines but with a modern touch. Jacadi values family, authenticity, and contemporary, all of these qualities are so vivid when looking at any of their designs.
When choosing my kids Spring outfits from Jacadi, I didn’t just want to get the same matching item for the girls, but rather coordinate. I chose this adorable classic grey circle print for the Siella and Gemma, and bright pants for Ryder but tied in the look with this grey cardigan.
Ryder’s look is laid back and I wanted something that will reflect his style, yet still be appropriate for dress up. Jacadi offers a great straight leg slim pant in an array of colors, perfect for my little string bean. This classic mint green 5-pocket styling has western topstitching at the back pockets. Nodding to the name of Jacadi’s “A Bicyclette” collection, this soft white cotton tee is emblazoned with a sporty green bicycle graphic with navy trim lining the ribbed collar. And to add a more dressy vibe, this elegant cotton cardigan has a refined zip-front closure, and contrast details at the inner neck and elbow patches. All of these timeless pieces can be worn together or each individually with other pieces from his wardrobe.
Siella’s style is maturing a bit as she is approaching three years old, so I decided to go with separates. I adore this oversized gray-and-white polka dot pleated cotton wrap-front skirt. It closes with a snap at the waistband that’s topped by a silver lurex ribbon bow. The gray cotton t-shirt has poplin polka dot bands at the gathered straps with bow at the right shoulder. And for this unpredictable spring weather, a grey cardigan.
Gemma is wearing the Jacadi’s elegant summer dress. Soft white cotton jersey on top with a skirt of chic gray-and-white poplin polka dots, ringed at the waist by a flirty ruffle that’s not only comfy but stylish. I am adoring this two-tone white and gray knit cardigan with mother of pearl buttons. And I couldn’t resist the matching sunhat!
