The new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max phones are here, and they’re more powerful than ever. We’re an iPhone family through and through. Way back in the day, I started with the first iPhone, and now the entire family – kids included – are using these phones. I find them so powerful and intuitive. That combination of ease and power isn’t the only reason that I’ve been a loyal iPhone owner for all these years. With every generation of iPhones, Apple has consistently upped its game with more power and accessibility along with even more functionality., and they’ve done it again with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. These new models have more than a better battery life, focal length and software updates. The best iPhone is here and here are all the new features that are improved from the previous generation!
Design
It starts with the design. The new iPhone Pro models are made using aerospace titanium. Apple is the only company to do this, in fact. Titanium is both super durable and super strong, giving us the best of both worlds and delivering a phone that can stand up to day-to-day life while still keeping things lightweight and comfortable. These are the lightest Pro models ever. A regular iPhone has been on the heavier side as of late and a lighter weight is something I love, especially working in social media and always having to be holding my phone.
Of course, the iPhone 15 Pro models are more than just pretty faces. They’re also powerhouses thanks to their brand new A17 Pro GPU chip. This isn’t just a new GPU chip for Apple. It’s a new GPU chip period. This is the first ever chip of its kind. This chip is so powerful that it uses hardware-accelerated ray tracing, something unheard of in smartphones.
Camera
If you’re a long-time iPhone user, it should come as no surprise that the new iPhone 15 Pro line also comes with seriously powerful cameras, too. This is my most fav thing about the new phones. Its 48 MP camera uses an advanced quad-pixel sensor to deliver low-light shots with amazing detail. It also allows for an additional 2x telephoto. The phone’s new Photonic Engine delivers 24MP photos – two times the previous resolution. If you’re a photographer or a blogger like I am, that’s so huge. The new iPhone 15 Pro line now allows you to choose 24 mm, 28 mm, of 35 mm default main camera lense, something that’s never been done before! Here are photos taken with the new phone!
Photos
24-megapixel photos have been great, but amazing improvement from previous models is the 48-megapixel camera. High-quality videos on both the back and front-facing camera are things I look for on a new device and all iPhone models. Vivid colors are picked up beautifully and fine details are seen like never before!
Action Button
Another new feature that I’m in love with is the new Action button. Again, it’s a totally new addition to the iPhone, and it allows you more control with just one click. The Action button allows you to choose a specific function and assign it to the button. You can assign everything from ring and silent mode toggling to launching the camera with a button, record voice memos instantly, and so much more. It makes the phone even more versatile. Being able to do everything in less clicks has been time saving and effective for the first time.
Battery
And speaking of versatility, the new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models now support USB3 for 20 times faster file transfer speeds along with the ability to charge your Mac or iPad with the same cable used to charge the phone. That means easier use and far less clutter. I LOVE that. I also can’t forget the new battery! The iPhone Pro boasts up to 23 hours of video playback, and the iPhone Pro Max features 29 hours. A bigger battery is one of my favorite parts of the launch of the iPhone!
