We spend lots of time on the east end of Long Island, and every time we are in town, I make sure to stop at some of my favorite shops. A few months ago, I discovered that the designer of Pink Chicken happens to live near us at home, and our girls are in the same dance school. We follow one another on Instagram, and we sometime frequent the same establishments, but we had yet to meet.
Designer, Stacey Fraser started Pink Chicken in 2006. Creating the line was the culmination of a 15 year career, involving in every aspect of children’s clothing design, working with companies including Ralph Lauren, babyGap, Tommy Hilfiger, and Old Navy. Her two daughters are her everyday inspiration, and the clothing reflects her love of joyful patterns and casual easy dressing for girls and their mothers.
Gemma is wearing the Penelope Dress, which is a mixed print dress, with a contrast bib. Siella has on the Clara Crepe Dress, made of super soft crepe cotton, featuring all-over floral embroidery and a cute faux-tie, at the elastic waist. Both girls live in their dresses and own a bunch of Pink Chicken’s adorable ensembles.
Pink Chicken is a wonderful resource for the girly girls, who love to wear dresses everyday. Its become a go to when shopping for my girls, and some of their womens’ collection have even made its way into my own closet.
