Children’s fashion has undergone quite the renaissance from my days as a child. The variety of stores, styles and manufacturers offering kids’ styles can be overwhelming, yet I love every minute of scouring websites and shops for the right pieces that will represent my children. Total confession, I envy my daughters’ wardrobe and at times, I find it easier to shop for them than to shop for myself.
When I was first introduced to Jak and Peppar, at the ENK show this season, I stopped dead in my tracks, and asked their rep, if they offered adult sizing. The collection is so my style- boho chic. The pieces are unique, allowing young girls to express themselves, by mixing and matching. It screams free spirited, like nothing I’ve ever seen done before.
Jak and Peppar offers a wide array of styles including skirts, dresses, tunics, tanks, graphic tees, denim, leggings, shorts, jewelry, hair accessories, and hats. Their garments are extremely detailed, with many using special dyes, hand embroideries, and a multitude of unique trims and laces. Sizing for the collection ranges from 2T to 16.
During a simple walk through our neighborhood, we were stopped countless times, with comments about their outfits. I cannot wait to show you some of the other pieces from their fall collection!
