As much as I love discovering new brands of clothing for my children, there are a handful of designers that I continue to shop, season after season. Comfortable, quality fabrics are key, and if they suit my kids, I will remain loyal regardless of the price. This holds especially true if the clothes are for Siella, as they will get extra use once passed down to Gemma.
I recently discovered Girls On Greenwich, a site which sells and consigns previously owned garments, from some of the most beautiful designers, including Stella McCartney Kids, Bonpoint, Anais & I, and Bobo Choses. Children grow so quickly, but their are those certain pieces that should live on. With GoG, you can experience the difference and quality a particuar designer makes without the typical designer markup. Their collections are carefully curated and are updated weekly, with special pieces for petit closets.
Siella is wearing one of my favorite designers, Nelly Stella. This silky coral dress adorns a double collar, pin tucks on bodice, and pleating at the drop waist. I even layered it this week with leggings, and a cardigan so she can still rock this even in the winter months.
Gemma’s number, another Nelly Stella cutie is a dusty purple dress, similar to Siella’s, with pin tucks and ruffles on bodice, and pleating at the drop waist.
At their ages, I’m happy that I can still coordinate the girls’ selections, and find outfits in their sizes. I have my eye on so many pieces on their site, and I’m psyched to start shopping. I even plan to consign some of the things from Siella and Gemma’s closets.
