Playdate With Max Steel

I am loving the fact that Ryder’s new schedule this year allows him to be home at a decent hour everyday. Last year we were in Tribeca about three times a week till 6pm. He missed out on so many play dates because of his therapy schedule, so this year I am making it a point to have more playdates happen. When I was offered the opportunity of throwing a Max Steel party for Mattel’s newest and coolest superhero, I immediately jumped on board! I figured this could be a fun way for Ryder to hang with some of his new buddies from school.

Max Steel is an action packed animated series shown on Disney. The show chronicles the epic adventures of earth bound teenager Maxwell McGrath and his alien friend Steel. Both possess special powers and discover that once combined, together they transform to create “Max Steel,” a technologically superior superhero with Turbo Energy.

We were given some Max Steel goodies for our party, one of them being the MAX STEEL Turbo Sword. Kids can actually be Max Steel with this action-packed role-play combo. Inspired by the Max Steel storyline, the set provides the ability to unlock your inner superhero while reliving action scenes and creating new adventures.

Each child was able to take home a Turbo Team-Up Figure. Each figure has its own unique action feature that’s inherent to their character including signature moves, weapons and superpowers. One of Ryder’s favorite features was the integrated LED light effects showcase figure’s strength and power. When I put on the DVD of the Max Steel shows, the kids sat there in awe of the television watching how Max and his sidekick Steel are unstoppable. Together they operate as one inseparable duo, showing that the power of two is better than one. I enjoyed watching the show with the boys as this show was not just about Superhero’s fighting but it also possessed characteristics of friendship, teamwork, and humorous.

Visit www.MaxSteel.com for more information on the series. The Turbo Sword can be purchased nationwide, $29.99, Action Figures $5.99, and a Max Steel costume $21.99-27.00, perfect for Halloween.

I participated in this sponsored campaign for One2One Network. All opinions stated are my own.
