Our Hampton Home Tour

Super excited to finally share our Hampton Home reveal. This project has been a long time coming. Having a home out east was something I’ve always wanted since coming out here as a teenager. This is where Jason and I met, got engaged and truly holds a special place in my heart. As many of you know we’ve been looking for so many years for the perfect home for our family, and it was definitely the past year and half that pushed us to make the jump. The market was brutal, and I can tell you all about that in another post, but I wanted to finally reveal the decor aspect, inside the main rooms, the inspiration, and the design forces behind it all!

Watch The Video :

The minute our offer was accepted, I started creating mood boards, and I sort of knew the style I wanted in my head, and just kept pulling ideas and pasting them to the boards. I’ll fast forward over the part where we re-did the floors, changed out every piece of molding in the house, and re-designed the kitchen (more on all of that later.)
I’d like to say the feel of our home is French Country meets Coastal Beach. The one company that kept popping up when searching for furniture was Kathy Kuo Home. Her brand truly married the look I was going for, so I decided to ask them for a little help designing the main rooms in our home!
The Kathy Kuo Design services, were the easiest to work with and the process was way simpler than I thought. I first met via zoom with the design team to explain the rooms we were designing and the look I was going for. I purchased one piece of furniture before even laying out the room, it was this mirror, and they were able to work with what I had already and incorporate it all into our look! After giving measurements, I received a design schematic with floor plans and furniture to scale. This was extremely helpful allowing us to visualize each piece and where exactly it would go. After a few revisions, it was time to order the pieces. From ordering to installation logistics, their project team handled all the details for me!
Since a ton of items this past year have been on backorder, I worked closely with their team for delivery dates, and made sure I was always in town when deliveries arrived. The turnout, absolutely incredible, I look at my living room, dining room, and kitchen each day and cannot believe I get to live here. Now I need to hire the Kathy Kuo team for our NYC apartment.
I decided to list out the furniture pieces for you, that way they are easier to find on the Kathy Kuo website! Also big congratulations to KKH for opening their first flagship in Southampton! Now that their store is just a few minutes from mine, I’m constantly popping in for more design inspiration!
