Can you even believe it’s about time to start shopping for spring? We’ve been eyeing a bunch of pieces from the collaboration between Pottery Barn and LoveShackFancy. It’s the perfect time to shop for creative ways to display your flowers in outdoor spaces for the spring season, too. We’ll be picking out spring flowers soon so all of the decorative accents are on our mind for outdoor decorations. From throw pillows to playing with natural texture in furniture pieces for home decor, we are sharing our favorite garden decor with you for the spring!
Furniture
Firstly, we like to have a little bit of furniture on our porch but definitely in the backyard! Even a side table can add so much to your garden area. There’s just something about outdoor decor welcome spring. We have a focus on the front yard but these pieces are all fabulous for the backyard too. It takes empty spaces and makes them living spaces. Front porch decor is so underrated and can really make a home look welcoming and that touch of spring style with seasonal flowers takes it to the next level. We recommend taking a look at outdoor benches and small chair sets with side tables for a fresh start to the new season. You can decorate with the flowers surrounding these pieces and it’s a great way to give more to the space. By adding furniture, you make it more livable because you can actually sit and enjoy it more. An inviting atmosphere is what we are after.
Accents
Secondly, here’s where more of the fun comes in! Take a fresh look and add a floral pattern or colorful designs and you can really take your yard to a great place of natural beauty. Bright colors adds to your yard and makes spring that much more exciting. A wonderful way to change up your space generally is just by adding color. Even if you aren’t in the market for new furniture, changing out the cushions on a bench for instance, can do a lot. These decorative items don’t take up much space to store in off season and can last more than this time of year but through summer into early fall. Moreover, decorative pillows can be added onto chairs and other outdoor furniture to make the space have a cohesive look but feel more spring-like.
Planters
Finally, we love adding new fresh flowers for the spring season. And one thing we can never have enough of are planters. We are completely obsessed with these planters and find them to be fun yet versatile. They come in different sizes as well which is great because you can get a variety of options and really tailor them to your planting needs. Spring accents would be nothing without florals and the beauty of spring is welcoming that fresh start. And with that comes fresh growth of brand new flowers blooming for spring.
