NYCWFF – Back Again with Loacker

This is a sponsored post. Thank you for supporting SITC.

NYCWFF, also known as the New York City Wine and Food Festival, was so much fun last year! If you remember, I attended the event and hung out at the Loacker Lodge for the day. It was so much fun that I thought maybe I’d go back again this year. Well, I did! This time we attended the Sunday Brunch with hosted by Marc Murphy and Devour Power.

This year, the Loacker Lodge was transformed from a ski lodge to a Sunday Brunch station a la Camp Dolomiti. Jason (a newbie to the NYCWFF) came along with me and we made it a day date. We had so much fun hanging out together, enjoying delicious food, listening to live music and generally soaking up the atmosphere of the festival all day long.

Of course, plenty of Loacker wafer cookies were on hand, and I was totally fine with that. I love their cookies. I keep them at home as snacks for the kids (and for me when they aren’t looking). They’re delicious and they’re a better option than traditional cookies. Loacker cares about my family eating the best foods because Loacker is a family company. In fact, they’re a three-generation family brand that’s been focusing on the heart of family since 1925. I love that because I think a family company will make more ethical decisions about their ingredients than a company that’s purely impersonal.

Their wafers are free of artificial colors and flavors, hydrogenated fats, preservatives, and ingredients that come from bioengineered crops. Their ingredients are pure and simple, which I love. I also love that their Quadratini wafer cookies have a serving size of a hefty 8 cookies and that each one of them has four layers of cream! I have to be honest, I ate practically my weight in these wafer cookies while we were at NYCWFF. I can’t get enough of them.

I love that Loacker premium wafers are a better option to satisfy my family’s sweet tooth, and I had so much fun pointing that out to friends and passersby at NYCWFF. Head to your local store and snag some Loacker wafer cookies for your family, too. They’re tasty and use ingredients that we can feel good about.

Overall, best day ever, and we are already looking forward to next year’s event!

  1. I’ve never tried those before. They sure do sound really good though. I’m going to have to find them and give them a try.

  2. So glad that you had such a nice day! I think that with Loacker it can’t be different! Love everything from this brand!
