Nothing in this world quite compares to the birth of a child, yet with three kids all over three years of age, it seems like an eternity to me since I had a newborn. Motherhood may be hard work, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss that precious baby stage so much. I miss nursing them, I miss that sweet baby smell, and I miss their tiny little bodies. By the time my third, Gemma was born, I was much more at ease when it came to feedings. That particle of doubts that worried me with Ryder and Siella had gone, as I was more confident in myself and tried to enjoy the moment, understanding it was short lived.
For me, a third child meant I was required to pump more often, so having the proper bottle that would complement breast feeding rather than deter it, was imperative. There were plenty of occasions when Ryder or Siella had after school activities, which required either leaving Gemmie with a sitter, or toting her around. Regardless, at these times giving her a bottle of breast milk was simply easier. Still obsessed with everything baby, and sometimes dreaming of having one more little one, I discovered Chicco’s NaturalFit bottles, which were developed with the breastfeeding mom in mind.
Chicco’s NaturalFit bottles offer a natural way to feed your baby, as an alternative to the breast, because their nipples are designed to mimic breastfeeding. Especially for newborns, a breast-like, angled nipple with a rounded base creates ideal positioning for an easy and natural latch, and the extra soft nipple supports the baby’s natural feeding motion. The design of the NaturalFit bottles will not confuse the baby, and could help with an easier transition when feeding both ways.
Another cool feature are the dual anti-colic valves, which help prevent air ingestion, gas and spit-up. As your baby grows and their feeding style changes, NaturalFit nipples provide multiple fit and flow options to match their development. Flow capacities include slow, medium, adjustable, fast and Y-Cut, all of which can be used on their 5oz, 8oz, and 11oz bottles. These bottles are wide-mouth, and when feeding Gemma, I found that made them the easiest to clean, which any parent can appreciate when using 4-5 bottles a day.
Chicco’s breast-like NaturalFit bottles make feeding comfortable and easy for baby and mom. There’s nothing like becoming a new parent, and having one less thing to worry about is key. NaturalFit bottles are available in Babies”R”Us, buy buy BABY, and ChiccoShop.com, but maybe you will be lucky enough to win some in our incredible giveaway worth over $200! I bottle fed babies 1-4 and I’m nursing number 5. I tried several different bottles with number five… These ones look awesome!!
My son never took a bottle! I tried everything, there weren’t many options 8 years ago as today. I’d love to enter to win so I can donate these bottles to my clients who relentlessly pump full time. I’m a breastfeeding counselor at WIC.
I loved breastfeeding my first child however when you had to use a bottle it would be a break for me!! 🙂 I only tried Avent bottles because it was passed down from my sister in law! I’d to try this new bottle of course they sound like they would make my life so much easier! I am due again on 7/29/16 with a baby boy! I can’t wait to go back to those newborn days, sleepless night! maybe I am crazy
Used Tommee Tippee but I felt that it effected the latch
Both of my boys had to learn how to bottle feed early on because I had to get back to work at 3 months. With my first we used tommee tippee & it was awful! It definitely impacting my ability to breastfeed as it caused a lot of nipple confusion.
These bottles looked great and it does not matter if you have 1 or 15 kids quality baby products are a life saver.
I was a formula feeding mom, a breastfeeding mom, and a pumping mom — being able to have the right equipment is so valuable! Thank you for this great giveaway.
I nursed my daughter who is now 16 months for a year. In the beginning, we had some trouble and it was a bit hard for me, but once we got, she was a nursing champ! I used Phillips-Avent Bottles, and those worked for her.
I hope my next baby will be a smooth experience.
What a sweet baby! I’m out of the bottle stage but I just love your pics!
I nursed my son for the first 7 months and now we are using bottles. Finding the right bottle is key.
I had such a hard time finding a good bottle for my babies! These would have been perfect, especially for my daughter who had acid reflux.
With my oldest I was to scared to try nursing so I didn’t but with my two youngest both were so different. The first son I tried it with was a premie and I was having to pump because he could not latch the second son I tried with was a lazy eater and wanted to sleep!
we used dr. brown bottles to help with acid reflux. I like the bottles, it just that the cleaning was a lot because of all the pieces
I bottle fed my kids but with all the great products now available my girls love having the breast feeding experience with their kids.
As a first time mom-to-be, so much helpful info here!
my son has a hard time taking a bottle. hoping these will help!
My son was really picky with bottles while my daughter never took one. It’s definitely a challenge! I like that these are anti-colic and good for moms concerned about nipple confusion.
my friend is expecting and i am hoping to win for her!
I have 3 kids and they all were sort of the same.. sort of different! They all nursed for a handful of months.. all had an iffy time with the bottle at first.. and all took it eventually! It always works out in the end 🙂
Both of my kids were/are breastfed! never had to shop for bottles but id love to win for my bff who just had a new little!
I was just wondering how are winners announced?
