My Monthly Favorite Things

I’m starting up a new concept where I share all of my monthly favorites with you! If you aren’t subscribed to my newsletter— go ahead and do so to stay the most up to date because I share this info way more over there! But this last month has introduced so many new recipes, books, beauty products and just little things that I’ve been using on a daily basis. So I figured why not share what’s been in my shopping cart this past month and looking forward to the next. Some of these items would actually make for the perfect gift, which is great timing for Valentine’s Day.

So in no particular order, here is everything I’m loving this month!

Travel

Where do I even begin with this category!? You know my family loves to travel the world and make amazing memories! We are so grateful to be able to do so and I have a really fun time sharing our findings with everyone. Recently, we traveled to Paris and The French Alpes, which was the ultimate ski trip! We had the most amazing time and shared some of the most memorable moments I will treasure forever. It’s been so great to watch my kids flourish on the slopes. I remember when they were nervous to try ski school and now they’re faster than me! We stayed at Club Med, which is an all-inclusive resort. And when they say all-inclusive, they mean it! There’s a spa, the best food and endless snow activities. I highly recommend booking there!

My Go-To Look

It’s cold in New York City! We don’t have snow yet, but the wind is next level. I took my winter wardrobe up a notch and have pulled out all of my favorite chunky knits and thicker materials to keep warm. I’ve been loving wearing matching workout sets, too because they get me excited to exercise! How could you not want to show off a cute matching set? The top of the list for some habits I’m working is to work out a few days a week and having fun looks to put together full of new things is really helping me achieve that.

Recipe

Sometimes I just want a good home cooked vegetarian based meal. Last year, I decided I would step up my recipe booklet I keep in my kitchen and I added a lot of things to it! I searched the internet high and low and found what I think are the best list of vegetarian dinner recipes to keep on hand. My kids love all of these dishes and it’s an easy way to get more veggies on their plates.

Skincare

Let’s talk skin care! At the end of December, I felt like my skin was beginning to feel more dry than usual. That’s nothing out of the ordinary for winter, but when I decided to embark on this new series, one thing I was certain to chat about was skincare items. This is a category I’m passionate about and I try everything I share with you! I would never recommend something I don’t love myself, so I’m very excited to share this face mask from Dr. Barbara Sturm. I love everything this brand puts out, but this has revitalized my winter skin! It’s a holy grail product for me now.

Makeup

I’m picky about makeup! I’ll say it! But why shouldn’t I be? This is something that sits on our faces all day, so it’s gotta be something I really enjoy. For the month, I’ve been really enjoying these Wander Beauty cheek and lip products. Anything that is multi-purpose is really intriguing to me and they come in so many different shades and don’t feel sticky. So it’s a win in my book!

Book of the Month

Fellow readers, listen up! I am obsessed with feeling my best and I love any book that can help me connect with my body and mind more. Lo Bosworth came out with Love Yourself Well and I really enjoyed this women’s health guide! She’s the founder of Love Wellness, which is a great supplement and vitamin brand to help with any nutrient gaps or targeted needs like bloating. If you’re into learning more about health related topics, try this read!

Favorite Finds

This is a huge category because it could really include anything. What I did was pull the items myself and my kids have been wearing, using and loving the past month to share with everyone! Let me know what your favorite item is!
