I was recently asked about my before-baby life (if that even existed) and if I missed owning a showroom. The truth is, I don’t. I love fashion and working with the talented designers I did, but my previous life wouldn’t have allowed me to be at home with my children. Owning a showroom required a lot of hours away plus intense traveling. I have to say I am pretty stoked that my new job (which is even crazier now) allows me to have my creative outlet, focus on children’s clothing now, and most important be there for my kiddies.
I’m happy to introduce you to a brand called No Added Sugar which actually changed up how they were working once a new bundle came into the mix. It’s funny how children can make your life you once a knew; do a 360! No Added Sugar is a luxury, modern childrenswear line based in London. Designer, Deborah Medhurst crafted her line of quality basics for kids after a ten-year career stint managing London clubs and parties, living a colorful and “mainly nocturnal past life.” Until Deborah and her husband Ric became pregnant with their first son, Gabriel. “With Gabriel as our new baby, we had woken up to a different world,” she writes. “I was itching to do something creative and a little challenging.”
No Added Sugar was founded in 2001 and has grown from selling baby T shirts, to a beautiful range of baby, boys, and girls wear with exceptional quality and design, to make your child’s wardrobe just that little bit more special. It’s now one of the UK’s finest and most sought-after independent brands for babies and small children, stocked in all the coolest kids fashion boutiques.
Their quirky ‘Brit-Cool’ style is a must-have for cutting edge parents who want their children to look cool yet comfortable. No Added Sugar take great pride in offering original designs, made to the highest standards using their own fabrics. The brand offers sizing from newborn to 12 years old. Something I tend to look at now when purchasing for my children; which are currently in three different sizes and sections. No Added Sugar collection is super luxe, witty, and perfect for each one of my children.
No Added Sugar has a freestanding store in Notting Hill and can be found in high end boutiques such as Barneys, Babyccino Kids, and Chasing Fireflies. For more information on this designer childrenswear visit www.noaddedsugar.com
