Kids Style File: Appaman

It has officially snowed twice in NYC this winter and there is suppose to be a big storm coming this weekend. When it comes to snow, I actually don’t mind and usually get just as giddy as the kids do when it  starts to fall. I mean if we have to deal with this brutally cold weather, it might as well look pretty while we are doing it. Another thing too, the sidewalks get cleared pretty quickly over here so pushing a stroller down the street is usually not an issue. But one thing I always make sure of when fighting these bone chilling temperatures are that my babies stay warm.

Since Ryder and Siella are older now they don’t sit much in the stroller which means they can no longer be protected and kept warm with stroller bunting.Thank goodness I can trust a brand like Appaman to ensure they are nice and warm. Appaman is seriously a trusted name in my household when it comes to winter jackets. I first bought the brand three years ago for Ryder and have since bought him a new one from each year since. {Not joking} I am a total creature of habit and if I know something works, I am all about it!

Each year, Appaman comes out with new styles in the latest and happening colors. Siella is wearing the long down coat which has gotten an upgrade for 2013. It now features a double closure so you can zip it all the way up to the chin for extra protection against the chilliest months. Ryder is wearing another new 2013 style, the Expedition Coat. This heavy duty jacket is what every urban explorer needs the warmth of fleece lining and a secret sleeve pocket (Ryder’s fav).

And Appaman is not just for winter coats, they have an entire line for both boys and girls featuring the hippest clothes from tees, to dresses, to accessories. I was so excited when they introduced their new mini line, perfect for Gemma. Appaman is a trusted brand in my house and know it will get us through the bone chilling winter months here in NYC!
