As most of you know fashion is such a huge part of this blog, and for years now I’ve wanted to get back to my fashion roots and finally I had the chance to do so in creating In The City. This past January, I traveled to Florence Italy to cover kids fashion week and was so inspired, from the fashion, colored gelato cones, Gucci Gardens, and of course the gorgeous architecture, I knew I needed to create something of my own. In The City is a feminine capsule collection for mothers and daughters. All the pieces are made of 100% Japanese cotton and are made here in my beloved New York City. From dresses to skirts (and even masks), these pieces will surely inspire all women and their little girls to never stop twirling with joy.
The Inspiration:
Womens Collection:
Our Astor dress is the heart of this collection. Perfectly whimsical while absolutely flattering. With puffed sleeves and a fitted bodice this shape flatters any body and shape. The Astor comes in two color options. Floral and Pink. Both colors are trimmed with a velvet burgundy ribbon giving it an elevated unique touch. Sizes will run 0-16.
Our Waverly skirt is a fun and flirty option for any woman’s feminine side. Easily layered for fall this is a wardrobe staple that can be reworn for so many different looks. The floral print and velvet burgundy ribbon tie in the collection with our Astor dress.
Girls:
Our little Liberty! The Liberty dress is a classic and traditional shaped dress for little girls. The Liberty is available in a floral print which features ruffles of a second print adding a playful spin from the Astor. Our pink Liberty option is the same matching pink as the pink Astor. The Astor & Liberty make for a dreamy mommy and me moment. Girls sizing will run 2-14.
Our Mulberry Skirt is a little girls fall wardrobe staple! Easily worn with a light jacket or gorgeous knit, this skirt promises to be worn throughout the changing seasons. Whether your little girl is 4 or 14 the Mulberry skirt is a beautiful option for all ages.
Accessories:
Our masks are a 2020 must have. Available in both our pink or floral color, featuring a small accent bow and an easy to wear tie string.
Scrunchie sets are the perfect accessory to any of our collection pieces. Sets come in both our pink and floral color and are available in two sizes. The girls size features a small accent bow making them super cute for pigtails.
