Keeping His Grooming Routine on Point

This is a sponsored post by Unilever. Thank you for supporting SITC.

With sports picking back up and face-to-face apps taking center stage more and more, a good grooming regimen is still a major part of every guy’s routine. They may not be able to get together and yell at the screen as a group, but they can do it virtually over their phones. Jason and Ryder had already had a few virtual game day get-togethers like this, and even on days when they don’t, a good game of father and son b-ball is always in rotation.

I don’t know about the men in your house, but mine have not let their grooming routine falter throughout these months of basically staying put at home. In fact, I think Ryder now takes even more care of himself and requests certain products for his skincare routine. Although the world may have changed, my boys’ desire to look and smell great has not. I’ve talked to some of my girlfriends, and they all say the same thing. Their husbands’ grooming routines might have changed a bit, but one thing still remains the same for them: they love to smell manly and look good, even if they’re just wearing jammies around the house.

Because my husband and son love to stay fresh-smelling and looking good, I’m making sure to keep them all stocked up on their favorite grooming supplies from Unilever. You may not realize it, but Unilever has what I call “The Big Three” in personal care products for men: Degree, Dove Men+Care, and AXE. Ryder and Jason love them all, so I like to make sure we always have some. In fact, since Ryder’s been home so much lately, he’s ended up walking by the computer and pointing out the products he wants. I wouldn’t say he loves shopping, but he is definitely more eager to be involved than he was. I think it’s because he doesn’t have to come with me to the store.

Instead, we pick out what we want at BJs.com, and then we either schedule delivery, or use their Buy Online or Pick-Up in Club options to easily get the things we need, including his grooming supplies easily. It’s made it much easier to shop for them because they can help me shop right there at home.

Right now, BJ’s is offering some great personal care products to keep their grooming routine on point and have them looking and smelling great for game day, even if it is virtual. After all, they may not admit it, but men want to look good, even if they’re only on a screen.

BJ’s has all the supplies your guy needs for his grooming routine, too. You can get great items like a 4-pack of Degree Men UltraClear Black + White Antiperspirant Deodorant. It has MOTIONSENSE technology to provide more protection when he moves more, it’s long-lasting, and it doesn’t leave white marks or yellow stains.

You can also find a 3-pack of Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh Body Wash with Micromoisture technology to keep his skin hydrated. It even has a fun cooling agent to wake him up in the morning while he lathers up.

Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh Deodorant makes a great addition to his grooming routine. This dry spray antiperspirant is non-irritating and has the same great 1/4 moisturizer that their body washes have to keep his underarm skin feeling great.

My husband loves the Dove Men+Care Fresh and Clean 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner because it gives him a great clean, and it’s faster than futzing around with a separate shampoo and conditioner. It deep cleans and invigorates his hair with menthol and caffeine, too.

Dove Men+Care Antiperspirant Stick Extra Fresh is a winner, too. This stick has an invigorating, refreshing scent, and it’s easy on the skin. That’s great for men with sensitive skin. Finally, your guy can smell amazing with AXE daily fragrances in his favorite scents. Phoenix is a classic one that’s masculine and leaves him smelling great all day.

Not only will these brands help your husband or son smell fresh, look great, and maintain their new grooming habits, but they also support their passion, fandom, and confidence in and offseason. So if our guy has picked up a new grooming routine or he’s just been passionate about keeping his regular one, be sure you give him what he needs to keep that fresh train rolling. Head over to BJ’s to get it all quickly and easily!

  1. Gotta stay clean!! I will admit I don’t usually by a specific brand, I just get the soap/bath wash and deodorant that is on sale. As it so happens I usually buy Suave bath gel which is indeed owned by Unilever, but for deodorant, I buy Old Spice. haha

  2. Those are great choice of products and I can say that my husband and your boys have the same taste of trusted products to be use when it comes to their grooming routine.

Both my sons and my husband use Dove Men+Care. They like the fresh scent and the gentle way it cleanses and moisturizes their skin. Even for deodorants, that is their go to brand!
