It amazes me how much baby gear has changed since becoming a mom 5 1/2 years ago. I remember the only option for a diaper bag was a big oversized nylon type, and now there are luxe leather diaper bags that I would tote sans kids any day of the week! Same goes for baby swings, high chairs, and even strollers! The constant evolution of baby gear fascinates me and I love being up to date on the latest trends. As I have said before “being a mom doesn’t mean you need to lose sight of the cool things!”
Last week, Momtrends held a lovely and intimate event at David Burke Kitchen for the launch of the new HUGGIES “Clutch ‘n’ Clean” wipes. The morning was filled with fashion baubles, great company of editors and bloggers, and a yummy brunch.
HUGGIES has combined fashion and function with these new tag along wipes. The new clutches come in an assorted array of colors and prints, making it easy to take along. Mommy gear has come a long way, and why not celebrate the beauty of mommy-hood with these wipes that do not scream that you are changing a dirty diaper.
The event also showcased fashionable frocks from Destination Maternity. As a part of their ad campaign, guests were asked to give their feedback on looks that could be paired with the “Clutch ‘n’ Clean”. These looks will be featured on Huggies so everyone can see how versatile and fashionable these clutches are.
HUGGIES Clutch ‘n’ Clean Wipes will be available in March. For more information visit www.huggies.com

Loved having you and the other trendy moms on hand for this launch.
Thank you Nicole for always keeping me up to date with the newest and coolest products for moms!
I think you make a great point. This ad campaign ctaebrlees sports moms, but that doesn’t mean there is no love for sports dads! That’s just who the subject of this ad happens to be.
Looks like such a wonderful event! Great product!
Thanks Holly! It really is. Came in super handy at the playground today!
Thanks for the comment, Kate. I don’t have the stats, but I think it’s fair to say that dads sedpns a huge amount of time with kids in sports. Every dad I know is actively involved with their own kids and the community when it comes to sports and activities. The problem is that there isn’t a company in a position put together such a massive campaign and acknowledge dads. P&G, one of the largest consumer product companies in the world, isn’t thanking mom because they appreciate their effort in sports—P&G appreciates that moms buy products. Moms buy the bulk of their products; to appreciate dads would be a nice gesture, but wasted advertising. Since this post, I’ve been trying to think of a company that could do the same for dads. I even wrote a post about why companies don’t advertise to dads. Any ideas?
It amazes me too how much baby stuff has changed through the years! I became a mom 8 years ago and there weren’t half the things out like there are today. Hello baby food maker!
HA! It is so true!
