Downtime for this mama is a little scarce these days. I try to make time for me as much as possible but it is difficult to schedule much needed mama time in between school, kids activities and work. I like to take a little mid-day break at home when I can. It is so important for my sanity that I just sit and check in with myself. We are up so early each day that by mid-afternoon I start to fade and need a recharge before the evening rush.

Rarely do I have the time to make indulgent treats for myself like frappes and even if I have a few minutes to run out to the coffee shop the drinks are often disappointing—the flavors are inconsistent or bland. Lately, I have been using the Torani Real Cream Frappe and I have to say—I have found my afternoon zen.

Torani Real Cream Frappe is made from real, simple ingredients like heavy cream, pure cane sugar and natural flavors with no artificial flavors or preservatives. AND it is so easy to make, just pour over ice and blend—let the recharge begin and I still have time to finish a few work tasks.

I have been making a Salted Caramel Coffee FRAPPÉ! It’s super easy to make…with 2 cups of ice, 6 oz. of Torani Real Cream Frappé Coffee and 1/2 oz. of Torani Salted Caramel Syrup. It’s the perfect treat for mid day, even my neighbor sometimes pops over for one as well!

Torani was founded in 1925 by husband and wife team Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre. The duo used original syrup recipes from Lucca, Italy to bring authentic Italian sodas to their San Francisco neighborhood. Years later they made another the Torani syrup to create the world’s first flavored latte. Torani started with five syrups and today there are more than 100 naturally flavored syrups, sauces and beverage bases to choose from.

You know I love to support brands that make a difference and I am an avid supporter of family owned businesses that are not only dedicated to creating a great product but also use their success to help the community and the world. The Torani team is actively involved with the After School Alliance, Boys & Girl Club and Special Olympics to name a few.Torani is also committed to sustainability, too. They are working to reduce their impact on the environment by reducing their carbon, waste and water output.

I can enjoy my delicious Torani even more knowing they come from a small business committed to a quality product and doing good in the world. All is right in the world after a Salted Caramel Frappe! You can have a little afternoon “me time,” too…Real Cream Frappe is available in Plain or Coffee at select Walmart in the coffee aisle.

  1. Getting up extra early takes its toll on by the afternoon too. I’m always looking for a pick-me-up. I’ll have to look for this.

These syrups and frappes take afternoon coffee to the next level. I have never tried Torani but I will look for it on my next shop.

  3. I absolutely adore Torani flavour syrup. I like to go for the fruity ones to give my Sprite some extra flavour!

  4. We have a few Torani syrups here and love them. I am excited by this new frappe base because I spend way too much at the coffee shop. I can’t wait to be able to have delicious homemade Torani frappes now!

  5. Simply awesome! I love mixing up my own drinks especially during lazy days when I have the time! I think these are great, I saw how many flavors they have as well. I’d love to get my own bottles of goodness!

  6. That frappe sounds absolutely delicious! I’m often in need of a quick pick-me-up during my afternoon slumps, and I think Torani syrups and frappes sound like the perfect solution. I need to try this.

  7. Coffee makes me so happy. Love that you can make professional tasting lattes and other fun beverages without having to head to a coffee shop. I’m going to be rocking the frappe all summer long!

What an awesome way to spend your afternoon! I’m loving this idea and it would be nice to do this at home! Especially during Spring and Summer! So relaxing!
