A Playdate With My Nephew

With three kids, you can say I have done my fair share of stroller research. Sadly, Gemma will be turning 6 this month, so we haven’t depended on strollers for some time. That said, I am still obsessed with discovering new strollers and all things baby gear! Living in the city where your two feet are essentially your primary vehicle and means of transportation, it’s critical to have gear which is efficient, durable, and supportive.  I’m a long time fan of UPPAbaby. Their strollers allow me to navigate New York City with ease and style. This is my UPPAbaby Vista review.

UPPAbaby Vista Review

The VISTA Spenser has been my favorite model by UPPAbaby for all three of my children. And yes it accommodated all three! If you are asking yourself how is that even possible…well with one RumbleSeat facing forward, another seat facing you, and the PiggyBack ride-along board for a toddler to stand on, its like the SUV of strollers. And I still had enough storage space for my groceries, baby gear, snacks, or any other extras, because there is never a shortage of extra stuff when traveling around town with kids!

This past weekend, I had a little playdate with my nephew and tested out UPPAbaby’s newest limited edition – The VISTA Spenser! It has all of the same features as the classic VISTA, except for a few fashionable details! I’m absolutely loving this timeless tartan fabric which is a mix of grey, moss, and yellow! This special edition fashion has a full-grain leather handlebar and bumper bar in moss with contrast stitching in yellow. The leather on the handlebar is hand sewn and given a perforated pattern for extra grip while pushing baby, and the bumper bar leather is embossed for added resiliency that easily wipes clean from sticky fingers. It’s so chic and fashionable, I’m kinda upset my kiddies have outgrown this stage and I don’t get to rock this number around town!

Our little playdate included a romp in the playground, a few errands in the Brookfield shopping center, and we ended the day with a sweet treat at Le District. Baby John turns two this summer, and I cannot believe how big this little man is getting. He is always smiling and just the most loving little boy. I completely got my baby fix during this afternoon, and also realized just how much I missed pushing a stroller.

Over the years, we’ve owned and tested plenty of strollers, but I will say I’m always impressed by UPPAbaby and how they continue to specialize in high-performance car seats, strollers, accessories, and other must-have baby gear. Its products offer intuitive designs and clever innovations that parents soon realize they can’t live without. UPPAbaby focuses on greater comfort and safety for baby, with convenience and style for Mom and Dad.  They even have a Stroller Hub in Brooklyn where you can get your stroller serviced.
