A Father’s Love

This Post is sponsored by Minute Maid and Socialstars #DoinGood Thank you for supporting SITC.

This is a letter to my husband Jason,

This year, I want to take the time before Father’s Day to tell you what an incredible Dad you have been to our three beautiful children. From the moment we became parents almost 7 years ago, you stepped right up to the plate, never shying away from the less glamorous jobs of late night feedings, and dirty diapers. You’ve made their major milestones so memorable, and I don’t think you will ever know how grateful I am to be on this parenting journey with such an incredible man.

You’re the father of my children, who they adore, your love for them shows in every interaction with them. You are so full of compassion, guidance and strength. When we need a strong hand of support in our family, you are always there. I love you for being who you are and for all that you do. You give our children someone to admire, respect, and honor. You brighten up our days, with your jokes and games, and we cherish our time together as a family, because we are so lucky to have you.

From time to time, you are away for work, which can be painful for each of us, but even 2,500 miles away, your nightly facetime calls mean the world to our children. You may not be here psychically but we know you are just a phone call away. Just being able to study for Ryder’s spelling tests via Skype, means the world to him.  I know you get down when you are away, but know that you are #doingood, and we appreciate everything that you do for our family. This Father’s Day, we wish you the happiest of all days, as you deserve the world. We love you so much, and we love you forever.

Telling a dad out there that they’re #DoinGood is so easy to do. It can be as simple as sharing this video with them or sending them a quick message letting them know how you feel. You can follow along at #DoinGood to see other powerful parenting stories.
