I guess you can say I am in “nesting mode”. For the past two months, I’ve been getting the apartment prepped for our new little edition, who will probably only occupy a mere two feet and half of space. Thinking way ahead of myself, I decided that when its time to put the two kiddos in the same room (its NYC so boy/girl roomies is just fine), I want to do a bunk bed style room. In an L shaped setup, there would be a twin bed on top and crib on the bottom. As it turns out, the picture in my brain is pretty hard to come by, BUT I did find ONE company who actually makes it. Last week, I was able to meet with the designer of Casa Kids, Roberto Gil at his studio in Red Hook. His designs are exactly what I’m looking for and can’t wait to commission him for the job!
