I have been working with Hyundai Hope On Wheels® (HHOW) since 2016 and was able to attend their initial launch event that was so inspiring and moving that I knew I had to continue working with them to help spread the word! Every year, almost 16,000 adolescents in the U.S. are affected by cancer, one child being diagnosed every 36 minutes! To help this cause, Hyundai has been dedicated to raising funds and awareness for pediatric cancer. Hyundai Hope On Wheels® is a nonprofit organization that has funded research in order to help children fight cancer and has been the serving as a leader in pediatric cancer since 1998! Hyundai Hope On Wheels has been creating public awareness and stimulating conversations since they started!
This year, Hyundai Hope On Wheels® commits to award $16 million in a new research study involving cancer in adolescents! The event at the Flatiron Plaza was the pre-kickoff to HHOW’s annual campaign launch reception! The reception is held to acknowledge the hospital grant winners and honor families affected by this disease! The campaign launch was recently held at the Jacob Javits Center during the New York International Auto Show! The theme to this year’s awareness campaign is “Minutes are Precious and Hope is Always Worth Sharing.”
My world revolves around my children and family and time spent with them is everything! So for our young ones fighting cancer, every minute spent should be spent with loved ones and should be fully enjoyed! These memorable moments are so important and HHOW recognizes this which is why the organization’s mission is to save lives and inspire hope! Since HHOW’s contributions, childhood cancer cure creates have improved by 80%, allowing children to spend more time with family, create more memories, and enjoy everything in between that are often taken for granted!
