I think we all know I am obsessed with bags. It’s the easiest way to accessorize an outfit and this year’s best bag trends have me obsessed! You don’t need designer handbags to look good everyday, but they are fun, I will say. Spring bags and summer totes have been fun and bright but I’m ready to go for a more neutral and fresh approach to the changing seasons. These bags go well with any major fall shoe trend, making it easier than ever to style your wardrobe. I’ve rounded up my favorite handbag trends and overall style to look for in the perfect fall bag.
For Your Career
Firstly, does anyone have to go in-person for their work schedule? If you’re shopping for work, there’s one obvious thing you need to look for: a large bag. That bag needs to fit probably a laptop, lunch, necessities, a water bottle, etc. I find that these bags can often double as a diaper bag, if needed for any moms! A tote bag is a classic style, but don’t just go for new arrivals this upcoming season. Following the trend report isn’t always the best way to shop, when it comes to purses, I do like to think of them as investment pieces. Think about the things you need for a work bag, it could be an adjustable strap, a bit of structure, an oversized bag, enough room to fit a computer or something that easily wipes clean. One real thing is that a lot of people want to take their work bag to night at great happy hours and have it be stylish but still carry everything. It has to be the right size to carry you through the day and the best work bags are ones with enough pockets and come in large sizes.

Secondly, I personally find this category to be the most fun to shop for! I’m looking at my fall calendar and seeing a ton of social events, including fall runways that I will be attending. The fall season is full of great fashion moments, especially for bags. For example, a few purses I’m looking at are leather tote bags, mini bags, chain straps, top-handle bags, shoulder bags and oversized totes for the latest addition to my wardrobe. There are an endless array of trends at the moment and for autumn I think it’s fun to go for a more deep color palette and big bags to carry more items on the go. We’re stepping away from the see-through minibag and going for a top handle or cross-body bags.
For Everyday Use
Finally, the everyday bag is something that you grab for errands or when you’re running out the door. It’s a bag you feel comfortable with as well as confident. But more importantly, it holds everything you need! The everyday fall handbag a camera bag, braided bag or one with a detachable shoulder strap are some great places to start. Personally, I like a crossbody strap for when I’m on the go! It’s all about personal style and what you are capable of getting enough use out of. Your accessories game will reach a new level this season with a statement handbag. It’s the gift of the day that keeps on giving, if you ask me!
