The Macy’s Flower Show is running until April 7, 2019 and is completely free! Every year Macy’s welcomes Spring with its annual flower show. This year’s theme is Journey to Paradisios. Macy’s in Herald Square NYC will host a realm of gorgeous and lush plant life! If you aren’t in NYC, Macy’s also its flower show at the Macy’s on State Street in Chicago and the Macy’s in Union Square San Fransisco!

For the little engineers that are fans of Thomas the Tank Engine, this event is one you won’t want to miss. Beginning April 20th, the #1 Engine will pull into The Essex Steam Train & Riverboat. Children everywhere will get to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities! This is the 24th year of the Big Adventures Tour, and it will be making 37 stops across the U.S. and Canada!

Mozart for Munchkins is the interactive concert series for kids! On May 12 from 4 pm – 5 pm, Mozart for Munchkins takes place at Lincoln Center! For this concert, munchkins and their families are able to create an interactive, relaxed, fun atmosphere to experience the wonders of classical music! This series is inspired by animals and nature! 
 

Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival

This Festival takes place on Fifth Avenue starting at 49th Street up to 57th street at 10am on Easter Sunday (April 21, 2019). Be sure to decorate your hat and get ready to hop along Fifth Avenue to celebrate! 
 

Barnyard Egg Hunt

The Barnyard Egg Hunt takes place at the Queens County Farm Museum and will begin at 11 am on Saturday April 20th. Tickets are required and are $10 in advance! Be sure to bring your baskets and excitement for Easter themed games, to meet Whiskers the Bunny, and visit the farm!

The MoCCA Arts Festival is a two day event from April 6-7 at Metropolitan West. This is Manhattan’s biggest festival that features independent comics, cartoon, and animation. It will take place from 11am – 7pm on Saturday and 11am – 6pm on Sunday. Admission is $10 per day and children under ten years of age are free!

The Orchid Show: Singapore

  4. I love NYC! I think you have a plenty of things to do every time of the year, but spring is the best season!

  5. The kids will have lots to do around Spring Break in NYC. Especially a lot of Easter inspired things to do will be fun for them.
