We’ll be heading out for a romantic dinner for Valentine’s Day and have no idea what to wear! Today, we are putting together Valentine’s Day outfits for anyone who is planning a dinner date or having a night out with best friends. A love story doesn’t just apply to romantic relationships, it can also be friendship. No matter what your Valentine’s Day plans are, we all will be having a fun outing in style. Keeping the theme of love in mind, we are so excited to share a few pieces to either pair together or with things you already own for the perfect occasion: Valentine’s Day.

Outfit Inspo
Firstly, our outfit inspo generally is winter fashion. It’s been so long since we’ve had a cold winter in the city and we’re expecting a snowy season ahead. So this means faux furs, fun boots and warm layers will be the first few things we look at to style for the day of love. Moreover, a subtle romantic touch to any look can come in so many different forms. This can be adding layered necklaces with your silk top, wearing silky and satin materials paired with warmer layers and a monochromatic look. The possibilities are endless here, but one thing is for sure, we will be dressing for the weather this year.
Street Style
Moving on to a fun way to dress up trends. This season, kitten heels are everywhere. We’ve been obsessed with those kitten-heel mules that are everywhere lately. Bonus points if they have a strap for you to walk in if you’re in the city. We typically jump in a car if it’s further but any distance here requires shoes you want to be somewhat comfortable in. Heels add a little spice to any look and it’s the perfect excuse to go all out. For street style, we have been really loving silk skirts, especially options with slits. There are so many ways to style these but we opt for a heel typically with a platform and a cropped knit to pair with either a cropped faux fur or leather jacket. This is a put together look that works well with the weather but is still really pretty. Also, don’t be afraid of jeans! Now is a great time to wear those with booties and a silk cami. It’s the perfect mix of weather appropriate pieces and a subtle romantic touch.
Styling Sheer Tights
Finally, tights have always been in style. But we’ve been seeing sheer tights everywhere lately, it seems. These are great because you can wear a mini dress you’ve had your eye on for awhile or suede shorts and pair them with tights to keep warm. The sheer tights add more dimension to the look and you can still see your legs through them, without sacrificing warmth or fashion. These will be everywhere all season leading into the spring and we have been excited to style them for romantic nights out in so many different ways.
