The Celebrations Don’t Have To Stop

We’ve now celebrated two birthday parties during quarantine. Gemma turned seven back in March, and Siella just turned nine last month. While I tried to make their day as special as ever, it was definitely a different kind of celebration this year as they couldn’t have their usual party celebrations with friends and family. Over the past few months, I’ve noticed many companies pivoting in times like these and coming up with creative ways to safely not stop the party celebrations.

Last month, American Girl partnered with How To Cake It to have a virtual birthday party for children who couldn’t celebrate their birthdays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The virtual event was a huge success and now I’m happy to report that all of this is now available for curbside pick at your American Girl store!

I cannot tell you how excited Siella and Gemma were when I pulled out this stunning birthday cake along with all of their beloved American Girl themed decor. A tradition of ours has always been to visit the American Girl Cafe after school lets out in June, since that wasn’t able to happen this year, it was nice to have a piece of the all the cafe traditions right in our home, including a place setting for their dolls, the fun conversation starter questions, and of course the infamous hair tie.

There are several packages to choose from: Deluxe Take-Home Celebration, WellieWishers Take-Home Celebration, Bitty Baby, and Sweet Sprinkles package! Our Deluxe Package included American Girl signature pink and white birthday cake, deluxe-themed goody bags, crafts, digital invitations, doll crowns for party guests, and of course a crown for the birthday girl.

Celebrate your girl with this all-inclusive party package from American Girl designed to minimize stress and maximize fun! I cannot tell you how much joy this brought my girls!

  1. Yes!! I agree the celebrations do not have to stop. I celebrated my birthday and did my annual birthday barbecue. I didn’t have nearly as many over at my house that I normally do, but it was still awesome, good food as always, and good company with family and close friends. Looks like you and your family are still having wonderful celebrations.

  2. Wow! This a great celebration with your girls! I will definitely try this on my daughters birthday on october. She will surely love it. Thanks for the great idea!
