Surviving The Winter With 7 A.M. Enfant {& GIVEAWAY}

Well friends, are not even half way into the winter season here in NYC and so far its been brutal. We have experienced record-breaking low temps of only 3 degrees with wind chills below zero. I cannot even remember when it has been this cold. And in fact, the Hudson River near our home was frozen over, a sight I have never seen in the eight years living down here. But the overall hardest part about this bone chilling weather is that I have to tote the kids around in it. Living in NYC, we primarily walk everywhere.

And although the temperatures were in single digits, I still had to walk both Ryder and Siella to school everyday and with Gemma in tow. I have to say if it weren’t for 7 A.M. Enfant, we would not have survived the outdoors. From the 212 stroller blanket, WarMMuffs, and the new Kids WarMMuffs, we were warm and toasty thanks to 7 A.M Enfant. This brand is truly your cold weather survival guide. Can we just talk about their newest edition to their collection, the Kids WarMMuffs.

The Kids WarMMuffs are designed to fit your child’s scooter, mini stroller, or even attached to your stroller replacing gloves, just like we use the adult WarMMuffs. These mini sized muffs are the ultimate winter protection keeping my little adventurers’ hands warm when riding the streets of NYC. Insulated with ultra protective and heat retention fibers, combined with the soft fleece lining traps heat efficiently creating a cozy and snug environment.

Layers, layers, and layers! I also put Aquaphor on my daughter’s cheeks and lips so they don’t get chapped during these winter months. I also make sure to carry a thermos of warm milk so she sip while on the go to keep her warm. And when it’s too cold for her to walk around, I put her in her stroller, bundle her up, and put the rain cover on to ward off the icy wind.

  2. 7 am is definitely part of our winter survival! Those kiddo muffs look beyond awesome and I love how S’s are on her little stroller! Like both on FB and shared on twitter! Awesome Giveaway!

  3. Follow both and will tweet! We explore every inch our city has to offer to keep us busy in the winter! And the gym with a kids zones, swimming and trips to vail 😉

  4. We here in MI have the winters pretty bad too. We survive with lots of layers, lots of hot chocolate, and lots of love. ❤️❄️

  5. My tip is natural wheat heat bags. Safer than a hot water bottle. Heat up in microwave and tuck small ones in pockets and under coats and under a footmuff to keep little ones warm. You can also get ones shaped in cuddly toys so can be cuddled in the cold. X
already liked 7am on fb & liked stroller in the city on fb.
    Fingers crossed. X

  6. My survival tip is usually stay inside! Although with kids in school, I try to walk them to school as much as possible.

  7. Liked and followed all social avenues! I have the most trouble keeping my little one’s head warm because she insists on removing and hurling hats every time we go on stroller walks. sometimes i find said hat, sometimes i don’t. i actually bought the 7am enfant hat because it is not only supar warm, but also snaps under her chin, making removal and replacement almost impossible! would sure love the accompanying giveaway items to go with the awesome hat we have!

  8. Minus 29 this morning as I left home at 6a.m, with my 20weeks belly and thought about how would I do next year! I use heavy cold cream to exposed parts and especially hands before leaving home…This kit looks
    Like a must for me!
Liked 7am and your page on fb.

  9. I make sure my daughter has lots of layers on – a shirt, a sweater and a coat, gloves, hat. If it is quite cold, I will put a blanket over her as well. Fortunately, she doesn’t mind the cold weather.

  10. I dress my kids like an onion and than let them play in the snow 😀 When we come bac home, I just peal out the “skirts” 😀
Liked both pages on FB, reposted on INSTAGRAM (aninkas) and PINTEREST 😉 Would love to win!

  11. I always layer my little one. But on REALLY cold days I find indoor activities so my tot can get out his energy. Love the stroller bunting. I NEED this.

  13. My winter survival tips generally involve rotating toys and new craft projects and indoor playspaces so we stay inside and warm 😉 When we do go outside we dress in layers and wrap up in stroller bunting – blankets just aren’t enough when it goes below freezing!

  14. Aww, last year I was going to get a pair of these but I forgot. I would really love to win a pair this year, they are genius and our hands are really cold!

  15. Followed, pinned and tweeted!!! 🙂 My winter survival tip is double bundling my little one! Hoping I win the giveaway! 🙂

  16. My winter tip – put the coat on backwards as you head out to the car! Then you can easily slip off before buckling into the carseat and cover with a blanket.
