I’m at it again with the spring shopping. It’s so darn cold in NYC, that the only thing that is making up for it, is retail therapy. Not sure if it’s a good thing or bad, but I sort of get more joy when shopping for my children rather than myself. Their clothes are just so much more fun, exciting, and definitely cuter.
In honor of New York Fashion Week, I am working with Children’s Place, sharing tips and trends on kids fashion that will be shared on Children’s Place social media outlets. A few things I recommend for parents when shopping for their littles:
1. Don’t worry about matching. Mix and match your favorite prints and colors and don’t be afraid about putting two prints together. Sometimes when my daughter dresses herself the pieces don’t always seem to match, but it matches her personality and that’s ok.
2. Choose vibrant colors. When I am dressing my children, I tend to go for bright colors which is the epitome of childhood.
3. Layers. When purchasing pieces, I tend to look for items that can be layered. By pairing a cardigan over your tank dress for winter, you can then use the same dress in their spring wardrobe. This crates longevity in your child’s wardrobe.
Children’s Place was such a treat to snap up some darling finds. The shop was flooded with lots of brights, florals, and animal graphics which is right on trend this season. With big fashions at little prices, Children’s Place is always a go-to when shopping for my children.
Thank you Children’s Place for sponsoring this post.
