Last week, I hosted a super fun and much needed mom’s night out. With Mother’s Day upon us, it was the perfect excuse to gather someย friends and influencers for an intimate movie night, to see the much anticipated Mother’s Day Movie.
With a cast including Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, and Julia Roberts, this movie was a must see for me. The heartwarmingย and hilarious movie follows the lives of different mothers on Mothers Day. Sandy is happily divorced, until sheย finds outย that her ex-husband eloped with a much younger woman. Now she must learn to deal with big changes in her life, as her two boys have a new step-mom. Sisters Jesse and Gabi get an unexpected surprise from their mother, who is not happy to find out Gabi is a lesbian and Jesse is married to a man of a different ethnicity. Miranda doesn’t have any kids and is focusing on her career. Kristin is enjoying life as a new mom, but her boyfriend is pressuring her to get married. Bradley is trying hard to be the best parent for his two girls, since their mom passed away last year. His idea of Mothers Day is pretending it doesn’t exist at all. You can imagine how that works out!
LINDOR Milk Chocolate truffles make an appearance in the movie,ย and as theย official chocolateย of the flick,ย we offered our viewersย some of their signature melts to indulge on while watching the film. Fandango was our source for securing aย VIP theatre experience to our guests. And forย a little R&R treat for thiose in attendance, Cornelia Spa at the Surrey Hotel provided all guests with a gift certificate towards one of their signature treatments.
