Last weekend, I drove out to Woodbridge Mall in New Jersey, to host fashion hair and makeup tutorials, sponsored by Pinterest and JCPenney. On stage positioned in the middle of the mall, we created a life size, interactive Pinterest Board, surrounded by models, brand ambassadors, hair stylists and makeup artists, offering shoppers and passerbys fashion tips and style trends, and major giveaways from JCPenney.
It was the first time I had ever hosted this type of event, and it was a ton of fun. Each day, our efforts made JCPenney’s Pinterest board actually come to life, live on stage with looks that were just in time for Mother’s Day.
Weekend outfits were turned up a notch with three outfit ideas from JCPenney; the causal, brunch, and evening look!

Our make artists performed easy to do lip tutorials and “everyday” eyes. Whether you’re going out for brunch or dinner, applying the “perfect lips” can be super easy. When you have the time, come into your JCPenney store and treat yourself with a mini makeover from Sephora.
The JCPenney Salon curated an entire collection of hair styles, including a classic side braid and a vintage bob, to update your look for the season. In addition, they offered shoppers product tips and styling tricks to trend alerts.
I hadn’t realized it previously, but JCPenney is truly a one stop shop, providing load of fashion options, an in-store Sephora shop, a full service hair salon for the whole family, in addition to all their electronics and home goods. They offer products from many leading brands, while remaining affordable but stylish. I was pretty excited with my two head to toe looks from JC Penney from that weekend, and I look forward to wearing them all summer long!
