A Mother’s Promise

That feeling you experience when your baby just enters the world is something magical. You world immediately stops and nothing else matters than that sweet tiny new life in your arms. I have been lucky to experience this three times and don’t think I will ever forget these special moments that run so vividly in my head.

As a mother you make promises to your new bundle that will love him/her unconditionally. You will care, nurture, and protect them. You will be the best role model you can ever be for them. You will give them experiences that you didn’t get to do when you were their age. And you will only use the best of best of anything on them. These are the promises I have made to my children, like a Mother’s Creed and live up to them every single day. In the midst of our chaotic lives and sometimes getting caught up as most of us do, I make sure to take a step back and realize how incredibly blessed I have to have these three little creatures under my wings.

JOHNSON’S® Baby recently released this sweet video, “Your Promise is Our Promise” as a way to express their commitment to babies everywhere. Based on a Japanese legend that folding 1,000 origami cranes will result in a wish granted and a hope fulfilled, their scientists came together with their families to create an origami stork mobile to show mom that her promise is our promise, too.

They’ve met the 2013 Safety and Care Commitment to remove formaldehyde-releasing preservatives and reduce traces of 1,4 dioxane from all of our baby products, everywhere around the world.
