As the school year progresses, Ryder, Siella, and Gemma are growing and maturing into their own, and doing so at the speed of light. School is going well, they love their teachers, and they enjoy hanging with new and old friends. The super hectic schedules typically leave me wiped out by the end of the week, but the kids haven’t seemed to mind the craziness.
In an effort to make mornings run smoother, each child has taken charge of dressing themselves and picking out their outfits as soon as the wake up. Ryder is all about feeling comfortable, so it’s usually some form of sweats and a cool t-shirt. Lately, I notice how he checks himself out in the mirror more than before. For a while, I thought Siella was banning dresses from her wardrobe, but I found out the only reason why she has been partial to pants is so she can do cartwheels during lunch recess. Totally makes sense, right?! And Gemma usually asks for a tutu dress, so it twirls when she spins around. It’s funny how their styles, and even their personalities, are starting to be influenced by their friends and surroundings.
Speaking of being influenced, the children’s clothing brand Crazy 8, has teamed up with KIDZ BOP, the #1 music band for kids, for the first-ever KIDZ BOP Fashion Collection. Little ones can channel their inner pop star, with looks inspired by the unique style personalities of The KIDZ BOP Kids. My children love the band and haven’t stopped listening to their newly released album called KIDZ BOP 33. This limited edition collection is super cool and stylish, and my kids love that their clothes are super comfortable!
I have been turning to Crazy 8 for fashion forward gear since Ryder was a baby. This new Crazy 8 and KIDZ BOP collection features some of the trends of the season—bomber jackets, jogger pants, faux fur, plaid, sparkle, and shine. Siella went nuts for her Faux Fur Bomber jacket, in fact, I kinda want this for myself. These Plaid Ponte Pants, and Sparkle Lightning Tee formed the cutest ensemble, and are perfect for cartwheeling.
Ryder is rocking a Metallic Bomber, Headphones Tee, and Cargo Sweat Pants, with a slouchy beanie from the collection. He thinks the silver bomber is just the coolest!
Gemma picked out her outfit from head to toe. She loved the Sparkle Star tee and Sparkle Skirt, which I paired a Faux Fur white vest to complete her look. And of course she was able to twirl all day long in her skirt.
In addition to the fashion collaboration, Crazy 8 is also supporting KIDZ BOP’s “Life Of The Party” live tour, which celebrates KIDZ BOP’s 15th birthday. The tour hits over 60 cities in 2016, running through December 18. The KIDZ BOP Kids, who have been named Billboard’s “#1 Kids’ Artist” for the 6th consecutive year, will be wearing looks from the line on stage during their tour.
The exclusive collection is available for a limited time, in select Crazy 8 stores across the U.S. and online. In stores only, you will receive a free KIDZ BOP song with every purchase, while supplies last. Its too bad that this collaboration is only for a limited time, because the kids wardrobe can use a few more of these cool outfits.
