There is nothing better than a summer spent on the beach! The ultimate beach setup is essential for relaxation and of course a beach theme aesthetic. Beyond a romantic beach picnic, it’s nice to have a fun color palette to follow. Or decorative elements to make your beach vibes even better. You all know how much I love the color pink. While I tend to go for all the Business & Pleasure pieces to form a set, I am branching out. This time, to add more items to my beach setup this summer! These are the ultimate beach essentials for the beach setup of your dreams!
Sun Protection
Firstly, sun protection is the most important part of going to the beach. We all know how essential sunscreen is but sometimes those UV rays are so harsh that we need more than that. Especially if you have kids, there is no better way to keep the sun off them than with an umbrella or some type of shade.
If you’re there all day, this is something you will definitely want to consider. Something like dinner parties on the beach would not need this necessarily. During peak times of the day where the UV is high, you definitely will want this! Opt for a large umbrella or a cute little tent option. Furthermore, if you have little ones they make small shade options that are easy to carry to the beach. These offer the best sun protection for sleeping babies.
Our Setup
Seating
Secondly, this can be so much more than a beach chair. But let’s begin with that! There are so many different types of chairs and it’s a whole experience depending on what you are willing to carry out in the sand. Get fabric folding chairs, those seats that just offer neck or upper back support off the sand and beyond. Consider whether you would want cup holders for water bottles or need extra pockets to hold items and keep them out of the sand.
Furthermore, towels are totally seating options. They keep you off the sand and dry from the water. While you can go for a personal towel, sometimes we like to go for large beach blankets. This is because this way we only have to carry one towel and everyone can fit on it! Moreover, it pulls together the entire setup. It makes it look like it’s out of a magazine almost.
Keeping Cool
Finally, we need to get creative when it comes to keeping cool. Beyond staying hydrated, there are options like mini fans that can clip onto chairs and tents. Additionally, a picnic basket or picnic bag can be a great option if it’s insulated. These keep drinks and snacks cool so you have a refreshing option when you are soaking up the sun. A lot of brands make matching sets to their beach items so the whole look is totally pulled together. Imagine a matching water bottle, cooler, umbrella and beach blanket? We can’t get enough of it all!
