Coming fromΒ a fashion background, I still get excited when Fashion Week hitsΒ New York, because you can feel the buzz, just by walking through the streets. With the models scurrying from show to show, and the fashionistas dressed to the nines, it’s hard to miss, but if you make it to tents at Lincoln Center, that’s when you’ll capture the full experience.Β WalkingΒ down the runway during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (as a mom, not model) was probably a once in a lifetime experience for me, so every season during NYFW, I am adamant about attending a show or two.
This Fashion Week,Β YoplaitΒ introduced its Signature Collection at Lincoln Center, which is a series of beautifully designed cups styled by the imaginative designer Christopher Straub. The limited-edition cup designs are a fun way to celebrate the flavors of Yoplait Original and Yoplait Light. While attending the show, I had an opportunity to meet with designer Christopher Straub, who was kind enough to share hisΒ take on the collection and what inspired his new signature cups for Yoplait. In additions, I checked out some of his chic designs, along withΒ two custom gowns he created by using Yoplait cups and lids.
Christopher Straub was incredible, and he was really excited about his partnership with Yoplait. He mentioned,Β “I wanted to find the personality in each flavor and bring it front and center.β His colorful collection really comes to life within theΒ Yoplait flavors, and you can actually see the textures and lines within the colorful designs, which happen to be super yummy as well.
The Yoplait Signature Collection includes Strawberry, Harvest Peach and Orange CrΓ¨me from Yoplaitβs Original line and Blueberry Patch, Key Lime Pie and Strawberries βn Bananas from Yoplaitβs Light line, and it is available exclusively at U.S. Target stores nationwide through February.Β Each cup is brightly colored, with bold designs that bring Straubβs whimsical style to life on the shelves.
