Must Watch Holiday Movies

Our family loves a good holiday movie. I grew up watching classics like Miracle On 34th Street and It’s A Wonderful Life and more! I also know there’s a cult following for hallmark holiday movies! And I often get into them myself too. I just love a feel good story with a happy ending. While many of us know of Elf  and Home Alone, studios are also releasing new stories and movies that can become holiday movie watching traditions. I’ll listed some of the newer options that are guaranteed to bring your family festive cozy holiday vibes.

Team Marco – The cutest new family movie for this holiday seasons movie nights! When Marco’s grandfather introduces him to bocce ball and the neighborhood crew, Marco decides the round up his own crew for a kids team! This is a great family movie night option so grab your popcorn and hot chocolate and cozy up to Team Marco.

Holidate – Sloane and Jackson are tired of being single and attending special events alone. They mutually decide to make a packed to be each other’s platonic plus one’s for a whole year. This cute romantic comedy is an easy watch with all the holiday vibes.

The Christmas Chronicles 1 & 2 – After loosing their fire fighter father Kate and Teddy’s  mom is having a tough time making ends meet and has to work on Christmas eve. Home alone Kate and Teddy decide to capture Santa on camera, but what happens next takes us all on a holiday plot twist! This movie is so cute you’ll be watching the 2nd in no time!

Dash & Lily – Cynical Dash and optimistic Lily use a notebook to share dreams, dares, and desires that quickly turns in a whirlwind holiday romance. I love that this movie takes place in NYC. The location adds to the holiday magic vibes.

Jingle Jangle – Jump right in to the magical world of a toy maker and his adventurous granddaughter. When he’s close to loosing it all, his granddaughter helps him created a toy that will change their lives forever. This is a great choice for all ages!

Super Monsters Save Christmas – Super Monsters has quickly become a household name and favorite. Follow the Monsters for a fun filled holiday special. When Santa loses one of his reindeer, the Super Monsters join in on the search in hopes of saving Christmas!

Operation Christmas Drop – I think we could all use a tropical Christmas escape. When Erica,  a political aide heads to a beachside air base she meets Capt. Andrew Jantz. This work relationship quickly becomes more when the sun is shining and holiday vibes are in the air. Another great easy to watch romantic comedy.

Dear Santa –  This documentary is a sweet inside look to Operation Santa. Every year thousands of letters arrive through the United Post Office lettered to Santa. Operation Santa helps children’s dreams come true!
