Labor Day Sales We Have Our Eye On

With Labor Day Weekend approaching, we get the end of the summer. Nonetheless, we do have the beginning of fall, which is also full of excitement! I don’t know about you, but I always have my eyes peeled for the best deals and the long weekend comes with deep discounts. It could be a department store with great clothes or shoes on sale or even major appliances you might have your eye on. It’s always a good time to get a good deal and if you’re looking for bigger items like furniture for a living room or furnishings and technology for a new home, I highly recommend shopping the best Labor Day deals for the lowest prices until Black Friday sales begin. These are the best Labor Day sales that have already begun!

Appliances and Technology/Home

Firstly, the home category is the biggest opportunity for the lowest price of the season. A few things to take into consideration are your space and what exactly you need. Not only is this a limited time sale, but it is the end of the summer, so things like patio furniture, air conditioners and a fire pit will all be sale items with a major price drop. This is because they don’t get much use as the cooler weather comes, so now is the time to shop for them for next year!

Moreover, a smart tv, bed frames and new furniture in general are all a big purchase. These are items you really want to think about before making a commitment to buying them, but LDW is the perfect time to bit the bullet and buy big ticket items. Prices are rarely this low and you get a lot for your money for this normally expensive items. We like to shop from Best Buy, Home Depot, Value City Furniture and West Elm.

Clothes and Accessories

Secondly, I’m no shopping expert, but I like to think I am up to date on all fashion trends! It’s easy to make a shopping list of pieces you’ve had your eye on or wardrobe staples you want to get on sale. Often times we don’t know what is going to be on sale for LDW until the sales drop, so it can be difficult to plan ahead on anything related to fashion. It’s totally easier with appliances and furniture because you know you can get great deals on things you need.

As the unofficial end of summer begins, I do recommend snagging pieces that can be worn for the next three seasons, rather than just grabbing summer pieces that are on sale for wear a year from now. Pieces like sweaters, sneakers, clogs and jewelry are a few categories I’ll be shopping for during major sales this weekend and next!

Beauty

Finally, beauty items are things that can always be stocked up on. I personally am always looking for new products to try out and the best time to do so is when there are additional discounts. It’s also great if you end up not liking the products because you didn’t pay full price!

Furthermore, places like Ulta do a great job of having a few days of beauty sale both in store and online. This can include categories like makeup, hair care, skincare and body care. Because of expiration dates, I recommend getting gifts from the beauty section during holiday shopping season so they stay the freshest. Washing machines and smart tvs are things you can get ahead of the holidays, but anything that goes on our bodies and is absorbed into our bloodstream is best kept until closer to the holiday celebrations.
