Guide To Virtual Summer Camps

How are all my fellow parents doing out there? The last few months surely have felt more like years! As the season changes and as our students officially go into summer break, online resources are needed more than ever! There are tons of businesses that are continuing to change their formats to provide online classes, products, and even summer camps! I hope this 4th edition of quarantine resources can continue to help all your families in finding a bit of structure and joy during this time.

Kidpass Online Summer Camps

Not only is Kidpass an excellent resource for online education, they are now offering tons of online summer camp options! Camp options include art, music, Mandarin, animated movie making, hip hop, musical theater, dance, baking, and so many others. I cant recommend Kidpass enough for keeping all our kids happily educated through this summer.

STEM Summer Survival

Lets support our little scientists! Students will attend virtual sessions that help engage real world science and engineering tests that build impressive skills. Projects include peer collaboration, problem solving, and tons of creativity. The program is specifically designed for virtual learning and is perfect for ages 9-12.

Idyllwild Arts

This 24 hour virtual fundraiser will highlight the transformative power of the arts. Fundraiser will showcase the Idyllwild Arts students, faculty, alumni, and friends. Idyllwild Arts is also offering summer classes for kids and teens.

Rise Arts Academy 

Rise Arts Academy is perfect for inspiring dancers, actors, directors, and writers! Camps focus on acting technique, jazz, musical theater, cirque, screen writing, directing, improv, and more! Teahcers have background in Cirque de Soleil, Miramax Films, Broadway, VOGUE, HBO, etc… Your aspiring performers are bound to be taught from some of the best in their industries.

Celebrations In The Kitchen

This is such an amazing quarantine activity. With holidays and birthdays being celebrated at home, baking and decorating delicious treats is a safe but totally fun party activity! Baking kit themes include a graduation kit, fathers day, summertime fun, zoo animals, unicorns, and SO MUCH MORE! This is delicious fun for the whole family!

Code Advantage Coding Classes

We all know computers and tech are the future, so why not give our kids an advantage in learning young! Code Advantage, an award winning after school commuter program, is specifically deigned to teach our children not only coding and robotics, but also logical thinking, creative exploration, critical reasoning skills all while having fun!

The Play Adventures

This fantastic Instagram page created by a nanny and family support practitioner provides fun playful activities to do with your children. I know a lot of us are getting burnt out and need new inspiration. Her projects and ideas are so fun for all ages and I highly recommend checking out her page!

Sweetology Virtual Birthday Parties

Sweetology is a one stop shop for quarantine birthdays! Pick your theme and the kit is sent directly to your door. Sweetology also has “Science Cake Kits” where children will learn the scientific aspects to baking! Fun, educational, and totally delicious!


Not quite origami, and not quite a puzzle, Cubles are affordable paper toys totally reinvented! No glue, scissors, or extra materials are needed for your kids to put their creative learning skills to work! These fun foldable projects are great for boys and girls of all ages!

AllieVille Show

Allieville was created as way to help kids and their parents during the COVID-19 quarantine. Allie producea the show alone, in my Brooklyn apartment and invites kids to come with her on a virtual journey of wacky wonder and creative learning. These fun videos help children (and adults!) learn how to express themselves through art and imaginative play!

Center For Architecture

The Center for Architecture’s online summer classes help curious kids dive into architectural interests and test out their own design ideas. Each program explores a different theme through art and building activities, design challenges, guided investigations of architectural examples, and interactive presentations and discussions led by the Center for Architecture’s Design Educators and special guests.

The Lion King Experience

The Lion King Experience is an immersive arts program giving kids of all ages an inside scope to theater making! Students will create theater masks, write original songs, design a lighting concept, and more. This is a one of a kind experience for all our aspiring artists!

  1. I love that we live in an age that the kids CAN do camps online! What would we have done back in the day if there was a pandemic when we were kids and no camps were open!

  2. Love how many interesting thins a kid can learn from these classes. They are various for everyone! My kid would prefer coding and IT classes! I will check it out!
