It is insane to me how kids all over the world have taken to the Disney Movie “Frozen“. What a coincidence that half the country has been in a state of frozen this entire winter. As if Disney knew about this! The Frozen Movie has been a major obsession in our household, and I’m sure yours as well. My children saw it three times in the theatre (not kidding). And the soundtrack has been played at least 1000 times and we all (except for Gemma) know every song..word for word. It’s an insane phenomenon, really!
So when Kidfresh asked me to join them in a “Frozen Dinner and Movie“ night…I was in, as well as the kids. Kidfresh frozen meals showed up at our doorstep, along with the soon to be released movie Frozen, just in time for the perfect Friday night! Ryder and Siella were jumping for joy that they had the actual DVD right in their very own hands. And for the record, Ryder has a major crush on Elsa.
I do love to cook but lets face it, everyday life throws us curve balls, leaving very little time in the day to whip up a healthy meal. I know that I could turn to a fast meal by Kidfresh and know that my kids are getting the healthiest possible option aside from my cooking. When I know a product is wholesome and rid of the nasty preservatives, I’m actually able to read the back label and know every single ingredient that is in there. For example..their Kidfresh Super Duper Chicken Nuggets have: Chicken Breast Meat, Whole Wheat Flour, Water, Cauliflower, Onions, Unbleached Wheat Flour, Natural Flavors, Salt, Corn Starch, Yellow Corn Flour, Rice Starch, Yeast, Molasses, Sea Salt, Leavening (Cream of Tartar, Baking Soda), Whole Grain Millet Flour. Breading set in expeller pressed Canola Oil. I know every ingredient and don’t have to question it! I’m sold!
